Shirley B. (Boyce), Harris, was born in Richmond, Virginia, on the Prince George County Military Base. She has lived most of her life in the Northern Parts of the U.S. She attended Grade School at the Mary C. I. Williams School before moving and attending George Gray Elementary School. She attended Warner Junior High School and then moved on, where she graduated from P. S. DuPont High School. Shirley has lived most of her adult life in Governor Printz Boulevard's vicinity in Wilmington, Delaware. She worked for the E. I. DuPont de Nemours Company for 17 years, attended Delaware Technical Community College, where she majored in Political Science and Data Entry, which has been the love of her life. Shirley moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2011 and attended Beulah Heights Bible College, where she graduated with a master's degree in leadership studies. Shirley is currently pursuing her master's degree in religious studies and will graduate in May 2021. Shirley has over 25 years in administration at Wachovia Bank as a team leader, customer service professional, executive assistant, and accounts receivable. She joined Sigma Gamma Theta – Society of Women in Theology in May 2019, where she served as secretary during her first term. Shirley was nominated as President of the Society of Women in Theology in 2020, where she currently serves. Her hobbies range from cooking to serving her community, especially the seniors. She enjoys event photography and is a dedicated mother of three outstanding daughters. Her favorite Scripture is Jeremiah 29:11. Shirley hopes to one day facilitate an organization that will benefit those who have lost their way or paths in life, including homelessness. Shirley has a passion for helping those who are in need.
